Is it? Will it hurt me that since I haven't taken any AP since my school obv. doesn't offer any? Or Honors Courses? Will colleges look at my GPA differently?

You are always evaluated in the context of your school, so you should take the most challenging curriculum available. It doesn’t matter if that curriculum doesn’t include any AP’s; you won’t be penalized since your school doesn’t even offer them.

I hear this all the time - that they wouldn’t penalize you for not taking AP or IB if your school doesn’t offer… but I sometimes think it’s really kind of nonsense.
I don’t know, maybe I’m a little paranoid about the whole application process (and increasing feeling of inferiority complex sort of thing), but what if two people were “fighting” for one spot and one had APs and the other one didn’t (given that they have similar other things like ECs and SAT score)? Wouldn’t the one with AP get the spot?
Or do they separate people who have taken AP from those who didn’t at the beginning?

Hmm.

It’s like them asking you to solve Goldbach’s conjecture. (You can’t.)

Students can not dictate where they go to school, and more importantly what is offered academically. I do agree with fledgling, however if you want to increase your chances try to seek out enrichment opportunities in your community. Taking a course at your local community college would certainly help any student in college admissions.
