<p>Selective colleges look for students who take challenges. It’s a good indicator of success at their level. Your choices will not affect you if you apply to colleges that admit a broad range of students.</p>

<p>OP, it really just depends. Is there a mandate on how many semesters of PE you need? If so, don’t exceed it. Also, if you are looking for an easy A, PE surely isn’t the way to go. Colleges practically cross that off your transcript as soon as the see it.</p>
