Is it bad to change HS my senior year?

I'm just into the second quarter of my junior year and im thinking that i should change schools. The reason why is because i believe i get no benefits stayin at this school. They selected 15 of the best students in the school to do the trial program for IB and i am one of these students. However even though i am doing IB level courses i do not get to take the IB exams because my school isnt a full IB school yet. I feel like they are just using me to get the school approve. The only good thing is my classes are weighted 25% higher than a regular course. So i was thinking that i would finish my junior year and my GPA would be over a 4.0 then transfer to another school to take AP classes because my school doesnt offer any.
Also i am the captain of both the soccer and basketball team at this small school and i lead the soccer team to the second round of the districts which is the first time ever in school history and we lost to the team that won the champioinship so i was wondering if colleges would like if i elevated the competition level by going to a division 1 school other than my d3 team. i kno i wouldnt be a captain but i would be able to make the team.
My GPA at the moment is 3.78 but it will definitely be over a 4.0 by the end of this year and i was wondering if it would be better if i change schools and be in the higher percentage of a class of 500 other than a class of 50.
Then my last question is if colleges would look down on my for changing schools my senior year and what would be the best option. My main reason for changing is to take ap classes so i can receive college credit. I really need advice on this. Please and thank you

I am editing the title of this thread and moving it to the proper forum. The Transfer Students forum is for students transferring from one COLLEGE to another, not HS.
