Is it bad to have all my classes mwf?

To take all the classes I want my schedule will have to look something like this:

Music theory: mwf 9-950/10-1050
Math: mtwf 12-1250
Econ:mwf 2-320
Guitar ensemble: f 4-530

Will this be really annoying or cause any serious problems?

All of your assignments and tests will fall on the same days. Which may suck terribly if you're a procrastinator. You also have less time to attach relevant work to classes. (aka. attach a study group session to a lecture, or attach working out to after a class, which is usually a great motivational strategy.)

However, your schedule is heaven for a commuter.

This past spring (due to work hours at my job), I had 4 classes on MWF and one on TR, it was just like any other semester. I did most of my classwork on TR when I wasn't working, and didn't have too many conflicts with classes scheduling tests for the same days.

i like stacking MWF because the classes are shorter and it's easier to pay attention.

No i don't think it will cause that much trouble. You look like you have a pretty good schedule, just make sure to use your time wisely.

I agree with Rutiene that if you are a procrastinator you will have ample opportunity to get yourself into trouble with a schedule like this. If you leave things until the last minute to the extent that you'll get up on Wednesday morning having not prepared for any of your classes that day, it could be a problem.

If, on the other hand, you're disciplined enough to sit down three days a week and just study for a good stretch of time, it could be ideal.

It all just depends on your strengths and weaknesses as a student. It would probably not work very well for me, but it could work out beautifully for some other students I've known.

I was lucky enough to only have three days of class last semester. If you're good at sitting down and getting work done, it can be awesome...I worked full-time all winter break last year, and since I had gotten myself in the habit of 8-hour days, I would sit and do all my homework, reading, and studying every Tuesday, and on Thursday I'd go skiing, drive home for the day, or whatever I felt like that week. It was awesome.

yeah i wouldn't want it because I KNOW i'm going to procrastinate and rush to get things done on the same day and so on...

i heard some schools have a policy that you cant have more than 3 exams on one day, but im not sure if that is true -- if it is at the school where i end up, im going to try to get all my classes on T/TH -- hello 4 day weekends!

that's what i did for my first semester and was lucky to survive with 2A and 2B. new country, new school. i found that it's quite a good schedule if i didn't want to get involved with campus activities.

That should be fine--especially because you have random hours tucked in there between classes.

When I had the option of doing so I always used to put lectures on mwf and labs on tr.

^^yeah, that's always really nice. i'm productive then.

Having most of your classes on MWF is MUCH better than TuTh...I almost died having 4 1.5 hour lectures in a row last semester.

Just use Tu/Th to do your work and you'll be fine.

i agree with most people because it definitely gets you in the mode to work

Looks great to me. 4 classes a day certainly isn't fun, but I had 4/4/3/4/2 last semester and made it through. Just make sure you actually work on your tuesdays and thursdays.

looks good
