Is it bad to say Facebook's my favorite website?

Question as above. I'd be lying otherwise and I think it at least says something about me?

Seems fine to me.

no worries…i gave a (similar) lol*** answer.

isnt it everybody’s?

I’m tempted to say CC, google, gmail, or wikipedia.

Agreed. Google describes me the best.
Actually dude, I wouldn’t put facebook because they are trying to find out what kind of person you are and if you put facebook, it’s not describing you at all, and if that is your favorite site they might think you are addicted.

You have to think about what your choice will say about you, I think. What will facebook say? To me, I get the impression that it’s a generic, mainstream choice and one primarily concerned with shallow exchanges with friends. That’s not to say I don’t use it myself–I do, and I enjoy it. But I wouldn’t put it as my favorite website because I don’t think it accurately portrays my interests.

Then again, it shows that you’re human. You’re a teenager, and many teenagers enjoy facebook. It’s an honest choice, but you might first consider what impression it will give and if that impression of you is the most accurate. :)

i think they just want to make sure you don’t put down a porn site.

I put down google - I don’t think facebook would be an issue, although I have know real knowledge with which to back up my assertion. Even so, I really doubt your favorite website is going to make or break your application. On that note, does anyone have any idea what the point of the one word answers is exactly? Do they really care what my favorite words is? (Do I even have a favorite word?)

like for me, the motivation behind putting facebook is that the theme of my app is basically that im a people person. so i guess ill just do it.

i think the one word questions are funny though. (princetons gonna laugh at my favorite keepsake (its a stuffed animal))

no problem w/ that. i probably wouldn’t do CC though. lol, i bet they get that one a lot

you need to put something like www.smartcollegechoices dot com or something like intellectual thinker.com

Dude, can we seriously put in CC? I’m considering it, haha.

Definitely put www.69rapeaholic.com as your favorite website. That’s how I got in! It’s code for “I got connections” to the admissions committee. Don’t tell anyone else I said this though.

haha…I am trying to do something more “personal”…foxnews.com (I know most of you prbly hate this site). However, it provides insights into who I am and might indicate I am a conservative, a minority group at Pton.

[The Flat Earth Society](The Flat Earth Society)
Best website ever.

Hmmm lol you should put sparknotes for it. Or maybe [Essay Writing service: Buy essays online, buy term paper, buy research paper. Custom essay writing service](http://www.supremeessays.com/)

Yes. It shows a lack of creativity and imagination. Tons of people will put that down.

I would say RuneScape.com. Colleges like to see dedication, and if you tell them that you have a level 138 account named Zezima then they might be extremely impressed.

@Rtgrove123

I would NOT do that. Given the liberal nature of the admissions committee, you’ll probably offend some of them. Try not to put down anything that is controversial.

Ahaha Saugus, brilliant suggestion.

yeah, don’t put foxnews.com
you’ll come across as a bigot, not a “minority”
conservatives cannot claim minority status

haha, this is helpful!

what about mylifeisaverage? i love that site. is it okay to put something like that?
