There are some colleges that require you to send all subject test scores and thus you need to comply with that application rule for those colleges. For colleges that actually require subject tests, you need two, usually in different subjects, and US History and World History would usually be considered different subjects, but that should be checked with particular college. Note that requested college major can make a difference because some colleges require certain tests for certain majors, e.g., like a math and science if applying for science or engineeering, a math if applying for business or some other majors. Moreover, some require certain subject tests even to apply at all, e.g., MIT and Caltech require math and science. Also, in deciding, be aware that most colleges that actually require subject tests use the highest two scores for admisison if you send more than two, so you do not have a downside to sending all four scores. Thus, you should check applicable rules for the colleges you are interested in to aid in deciding what to do.
@drusba thank you! So you think it would be okay if I send those two tests as an English/history/international relations major? (Obviously I won’t major in all three, those are just my strongest interests.) obviously I’m not applying to any engineering schools, which is why I didn’t take the math SAT 2.
Send both history scores. They are two different courses. Also I think sending your biology score is a good idea as it will show some well-roundness ( a 700 is fine).
I would send at least the biology score as well. A 700 is respectable. Sure it’s not as great as your 770+ scores but it shows you can handle natural sciences as well.
