Is it bad to stay for a fifth year in undergrad?

So first off, I want to obtain a dual degree (not double major) in Economics and Human Nutrition Food, Science (require 150 credits to graduate). Note that this is not to impress the adcom, I just want to since I like both subjects (as of right now). And Economics would be my plan B if I don't get into Medical school

My advisor told me to plan out all the courses ahead since it is quite difficult to get a dual degree in unrelated fields and I did. I see that if i want to graduate in four years, i would take 17 crdts/semester of pure science and math with no free electives (even with full time summer classes). This would be a GPA killer. Would it be bad if I spread out the courses in 5 years instead of 4? Would that flag the adcom that I am trying to be lazy (which I am not, I just want a good GPA while taking other electives I like that is not relate to any of my major)?

Thank you

It’s not bad per se, but you’re taking 5 years to do something that most people do in 4 (I phrase it this way since med school’s won’t be impressed by a double bachelor’s). If Econ is your plan B, why bother with the Nutrition? Just do Econ in 4 years and take a couple nutrition electives.
