Is it Bad to Transfer Twice...

I went from University of Southern Maine to Tufts and now I'm thinking about going to Georgetown...is this a good or bad decision.

Would grad schools frown on this move even if the transfer would help me in persuing my academic goals

Like I told someone else on these boards, you should take five minutes of your time to call up your grad school pick and ask their admissions people what they think about a double transfer. . . that way, you get it straight from the source, right?

No...I only want opinions of people on this board because thats what I'm basing not only this, but my entire existence on.

I am sure people have done it before...btw I agree with 546mp it's better to call the particular school as each school might have different criterias etc.

Why would you do that? Don't you want to settle down and actually experience college?

Of course I want to experience college and I am. However, I transfered to Tufts so that I could become a Middle Eastern Studies major. The NES program at Tufts is historical in nature without an emphasis on Arabic or Hebrew. At the time of my transfer here, I wanted to be a NES studies major purely for the fact that it was of great interest to me...however over the past few months I've become increasingly passionate about the languages of the Near East but unfortunately the language programs for Hebrew and Arabic at Tufts are nowhere near as comprehensive as they are at Georgetown.

Thats why I want to transfer...I'm not too worried about the whole credits transferring thing because learning the language, really learning it and being able to express myself in it, is extremely important to me.

gotcha....
