Is it better to forgo an accountin major to pursue econs with empahsis in account?

Is it better to give up a business major(like finance or accounting) to pursue an econs with an emphasis in accounting degree? I am in an accountin program but tinking of transferrin to the UC for econs with an emphasis in accounting. But i dont have any interest in econs..... Currently, I only know that ucla and ucsb have an econs with emphasis in accountin. I read somewhere that ucsc also an emphasis but i cant find in their website.

In fact, i m also tinking of usc (marshall). But the problem is that usc is too expensive. Is it worth it the admission fees to apply to usc in the hope that they will give a good( and i mean really gd) university grants?

USC does give hefty financial aid. I think if you scour their site they'll give you a definitive number on the average aid given out. Also consider majoring in business, while minoring in accounting. What are your current college stats?
