I read somewhere that it’s better to handwrite your personal statement (as opposed to typing it out or submitting online). Is that true?

Uhh… Why in the world would it be better to handwrite it?

I have no idea. but it said so in some college admissions book for Brown.

A for Admission recommends it but i think it’s outdated suggestion.

Yeah, I’m pretty sure it’s better to submit the entire application online rather than by hand if there’s an online option.

A is for Admission, despite this outdated suggestion, is a great book though.

another question, but on the app it only gives you 4 spots to self-report AP scores…if you’ve taken more than 4, is there a place to put your scores for those?

also, does brown mind if we send in our entire research paper, or just an abstract? in their supp. materials section they don’t really talk about research papers…

Brown used to REQUIRE you to handwrite your personal statement. I don’t think they do anymore.
