my question exactly!

the reason i'm asking is because i have a pretty weird GPA. my unweighted is about a 3.6 but my weighted is around a 4.5 and i'm currently doing the IB. as an international student, how would this play out for me?

thanks for the help!!!

It's better to be taking indisputably hard classes (which perhaps you are doing), and it is very good to be involved in activities that are also intellectually challenging. Colleges can't take high school grade averages too seriously, because they are not comparable from one high school to another.

well if you have a high unweighted gpa, then ur weighted gpa would be even higher.

high weighted is better b/c it shows that you have been taking difficult classes

same problem with me!! i guess my thread was ignored because no one has told me about my GPA problem. i have a higher weighted GPA then my unweighted. but my college GPA is weird. thats where its the lowest

i think high weighted because it determines class rank a lot of the time
