Is it better to send terrible SAT Subject scores or not send in any at all?

I tried. I seriously studied my butt off, but the Subject tests just covered too much information for me to memorize.

I'm aiming for UC schools (which require SAT Subjects), but I am keeping my options open. So would these scores hurt my chances of getting into a school that does NOT require SAT Subjects, but still recommends it?

The UCs no longer require SAT subject tests. I don’t know the answer to your questions, though. Sorry

Are those your only SAT II’s? In my generation, they only look at your 2 highest SAT 2’s even if you send them all in.

UCs no longer require SAT IIs for the class of 2012, actually! If you have high enough stats and great essays, you should be fine without them.

They’re not even THAT terrible to be honest. Don’t send them if they aren’t going to be decision making scores (like Math for Engineering majors for example)
