I don't know which one to send to my schools and the deadline is today. THe only reason that I am leaning towards my ACT score is because it is more balanced. What is the better score and which will give me an advantage in admissions?

SAT:
Reading: 650
Math: 580
Writing: 660

ACT:
English: 27
Math: 26
Reading: 29
Science: 28
Combined English/Writing: 26

Please help me, I need to submit one by tonight.

Both are pretty much the same, if you had choose i would send the ACT.

Would the SAT score not be as good because of how low the math is compared to the other 2 sections?

A 28 can be as good up to a ~2000 SAT, depending on subscores… It’s all up to you, good luck.

I mean 26 ACT math is probably equal to a 590 SAT math. Since your SAT CR + M is 1230, and a 28 ACT composite is 1260. Your science and reading sections of ACT help increase your overall average. If they see your subscores on the ACT, you did the same on your math section as your SAT. 26 really isnt that much better than 580. Colleges generally look at the composite of the ACT rather than subscores, while the SAT, colleges look at the subscores.

You are the type of person who didn’t benefit from taking either test, because you performed the same on both tests.

Send both, I doubt it would hurt you.
