i hear both versions

dart-mouth all the way lol

Refer to audio file...

its pronounced "dart-mith" with sortve a soft i

in NY we say dart-muth

dart-myth...not mouth!!

right i guess i shouldve used a y instead of an i

Meh. Tomay-to, tomah-to.

OMG i love that audio file///

"it's quite addictive.. i just press it ova and ova."

I know, me too! lol
Wow.... I thought it was Dart-mouth... my sister tried to warn me...

i always say dart-myth

How do you even pronounce the second word "dartmottthhh?" Heh

Around here (the authoritative source), we refer to the college as a kind of blending of "Dart-mith", "Dart-muth", and "Dart-myth", emphasis on the first syllable.

I suppose the correct way would be "Dart' məth", using the schwa :D

well the dartmouth tour guide called it 'dart-myth'
