Is it difficult getting into premed program

Right now, I have a 3.52 unweighted GPA and a 94% weighted average. I have a ACT superscore of 26, a 24 without superscore, and an 8 on the ACT writing? Is it possible to get in? :(

There’s not really a premed “program.” Basically you would apply to SAS and/or SEBS, taking the premed requirements along with classes for your chosen major. You have to keep your gpa high for med school applications.

It’s hard to chance people when Rutgers takes other things into consideration such as financial aid, how early you applied, etc. All I can say is, make sure to apply before the early action deadline. Especially since they are decreasing the amount of people they are accepting this year.

@drexeler
why are they decreasing? source?

Overcrowding is a huge issue right now.

Do I have to apply to both SAS and SEBS? On the application, I put SAS and SEBS down along with Pre-Med/Dental for interest right???
