Is it difficult to graduate within 4 years with a civil engineering major?

I have a friend currently at UCI and she told me that most engineers there graduate in 5 years and with a low gpa so now I’m just debating if UCI is worth going to for undergrad or if I should just go to CSUF with a guaranteed graduation in 4 years.

You should go to Celebrate UCI and ask people that work there rather than trusting your friend, who probably doesn’t really know much more than you do.

And I don’t see how a school can guarantee graduation in 4 years.
