I’m starting off my freshman year in college. The problem is that my college does not have my career at all, It’s similar but not what to study. I’m planning on doing my basics in college (2 years) and then transfer to a 4 year university. I was reading some transfer requirements but I feel like I need more information. How can I do this possible? At what time is it better to Transfer? In the summer after finishing my basic courses? Thank you!
Don’t you have a transfer advisor at your current college? Where is your current college and what are your target transfer colleges?
I don’t know were they are. Where I want to transfer it’s an university in my hometown. My current college is also in my hometown.
You would’ve at least had ONE meaningful talk with your transfer adviser. Are you at another 4-year institution then? You didn’t explicitly state that you were going to community college.
To answer your original question: transferring isn’t particularly hard, however, it is very time consuming and tedious. If you’re at a community college, then the process becomes less cumbersome, but it doesn’t exempt you from the amount of time needed to make a successful transfer.
