Is it dumb to get a b.s in environmental engineering and a m.s in environmental science?

I’m just wondering because the school I might be going to doesn’t have a master’s program for environmental engineering, but they do have i for environmental science. 8-} Also for civil engineering but I really do not want to go that rout. I’m in for the planet. I don’t have a desire for all the other things civil engineers do so that’s out of the question.

And, is it possible to get a master’s in env eng online or is that even more ridiculous? I am asking because I am most likely going to be working in my field by the time I get my undergraduate and I would hate to have to leave and move to a place where I’ll be forced to work at a non-factor job. You know what I mean?

It is not uncommon for people to get a graduate degree in something different than their undergraduate degree. You are free to do that, as long as you have sufficient background to get through the graduate level coursework required for your graduate degree.
