I'm just curious to hear from people on whether they think it's easier to boost an ACT score or SAT score. Any thoughts? Suggestions? Etc.

I feel that if you are geniunely a good test taker (like get a raw good score) sat is easier to improve and do well on. If you are a hard worker and do well in school with grades, act is easier to improve.

It is very easy to improve on both of them as long as you are preparing the right way.

what do you consider to be the right way?

I have many posts on this forum about the right way to prepare for SAT math. If you search through the posts in my profile you will find lots of information (I would repost here, but I just don’t have the time at this moment).

As for the ACT, many of the SAT math strategies carry over, but the ACT is a “fairer” test, and so just practicing ACT problems for a short amount of time each night over a period of a few months is best.

My expertise is only in math (and science on the ACT), so I wouldn’t give advise on the Verbal sections.

Best of luck!

Thanks, I’ll check them out.
