<p>I would guess the BSE acceptance rate is anywhere from 14-20%. That’s not necessarily to say that it’s easier to get into engineering, though, because I suspect it’s quite a self-selecting pool.</p>

<p>@tomjones - that’s just my guess. I’m sure Princeton keeps the BSE admit rate under tight wraps (assuming it is higher). If they publicly stated that the BSE rate was 18%, they’d probably have a lot more people trying to sneak in through engineering.</p>

<p>feuxfollets: No, that would not be contradictory, because those are both science-y things. Princeton understands that not everyone’s scientific interests allows them to be neatly categorized into theoretical science vs. applied science.</p>
