Is it easier to get into the nursing school?

I know UPENN's overall acceptance rate is about 15%, but I heard acceptance to the nursing schools is about 20-25% but that was for the class of 2009.

How id the acceptance rate now for the nursing school?
And what would you say you would need to get in.
like SAT scores, and GPA.

thanks!!

That may be true, but only insofar as the nursing school likely has a smaller, more self-selecting group of applicants.

if your a male it helps tremendously. a kid in my class last year had terrible SATs (around 1900s) no hooks, was waitlisted at nursing and was then taken off the waitlist. all of the people who have gone to penn from my school have gone for nursing and all of them have been males.

I went to a Penn information session and the admission officer said that only 50 people are admitted each year to nursing. I am not sure of how many apply though.

Each class is about 90 people, and Penn basically has the best nursing program on the east coast.
