Is it easier to switch from Accounting to Engineering or Engineering to Accounting?

So basically I dont know what to major in and it has come down to these two. If I were to start in one of them, which one would it be easier to switch to?

Engineering to accounting I’d think because you could at least use some of your engineering classes for electives in the accounting curriculum. But engineering is a very structured curriculum with very few electives.

The problem is that both majors are very structured. For example, with accounting, you need to take a year of intro accounting before you can take intermediate accounting for a year. You usually need intertermediate before you can take advanced accountant, although this may have changed. For what it’s worth, I was a physics major who switched to accounting. Accounting in school came easily to me because of my physics training. I would assume that the same thing can be said for switching from Engineering to Accounting.

thanks for the info guys.
