I didn't get admitted to UCLA, so I would like to transfer my junior year. Would it be easier to transfer from a state school (Cal Poly SLO) or a UC (UCSC)?
Keeping in mind that I want to major in business.

a community college in cali is probably the best of options if you are determined to go to UCLA. 70% of the transfer spots at UCs are reserved for community college transfers

Yeah, transferring from a CC is easier than from a CSU or UC. They’re cutting down CSU/UC to UC transfers, according to my GC, who went to a conference at Davis.

Take a look at Santa Barbara City College. They have a good transfer rate for UCLA. As said above, transferring from SLO or UCSC will be very difficult.
