Is it Essay plagarism?

After _____ reads an essay from college essay reference book, _____ finds the really great one. That essay is structured: First Paragraph - incident memory (Difficulties), Second Paragraph - face the difficulties again in the current, Thrid Paragraph - some ponint in life, essay writier had ever overcome something, Fourth Paragraph - That's why essay writier can overcome those difficulties that are faced now and the past.

And then ______ trys to write 's essay like above essay structure with _'s own writing style/structure/words/story that __ have experienced......

But the general feelings are similar.. for example, Essay writer wrote about overcome writer's incident about cross country, and ______ writes about overcome ______'s incident about foot ball.

Consequently, do you guys think ________ plagarizes the essay writer's essay?

Because my english teacher said to our class that "Plagarism" is kind of same as structure of paragraph/word/sentence strucutre/idea with others.
But I am really curious that above case is also structurally similar and significantly many applicants will write about their story with that kind of structure because the usual topic asks, "Tell me about your memorable incident of your life, and how did you overcome of it?..."

Plz share your idea~ :)

Here is my feeling, if you are concerned that your essay is too close to the one in the book, it PROBABLY IS! Use your own structure, ideas, etc. Don't chance it.

It problaby depends on how close your essay is to the book's. If it is just that you have the same paragraph structure, you could say that a generic 5-paragraph paper (intro, body1, body2, body3, conclusion) is plagarism. Talk to your english teacher/GC. They should be willing to help you out - just bring a copy of the book's essay and a copy of yours along for them to read.

Consider these:
1) If your are asking this question, the answer is probably yes.
2) Most college admissions officers will have read the same admissions/essay books you have and are capable of spotting mimicry.
