Is it ethical to put multiple deposits down?

<p>Rebel11, this is not just a school rule. The quote above is from the Common App signature page (this is the last item above the “signature”). So if any of the schools involved in “double enrollment depositing” are Common App schools, it is quite unambiguous that more than one ENROLLMENT deposit (or equivalent, I think they are trying to avoid schools weasling with a different name) is not allowed.</p>

<p>^Wow, I have not seen this before. Neither of the schools in question participates in the Common App. Maybe this is one of the reasons why?</p>

<p>Even the schools that S2 applied to that did not use the common app included language similar to the above, where the applicant agrees not to place an enrollment deposit at more then one university.</p>

<p>The Universal College Application (used by 44 schools including Harvard, Duke, Johns Hopkins, and WashU) does not have this language.</p>
