Basically, I’m really nervous about getting into Bowdoin.

Basically, I have a 3.6 and a 32 on my ACT. I don’t know if it matters or the admissions department cares, but I’ve basically been getting straight A’s since a very bad Sophomore year. I have been to a program called Presidential Classroom twice, in the Japanese and French clubs, and have taken Japanese at a college. I’ve also had an alumni interview, as well as an overnight in one of the dorms at Bowdoin. I will be majoring in Japanese Studies.

Can someone tell me my chances of getting in? I’m really freaking out, because my grades are in the range, but they’re on the lower spectrum of it.

Hang in there. No one can tell you for sure. But you see to be doing wel and have demonstarted strong interest, so you have a shoe in ....

To answer your question, yes, it is possible. "Chancing" someone online is sketchy enough as is, let alone with the little information you provided. All I can say is good luck and I'm sure you will find a great secondary education somewhere.

WOW exact same as me

32 ACT
3.6 UW/ 4.2 W (top 20%)

I have amazing ECs, good essays, good recs, interviewed (alumni)...

i am crossing my fingers but am expecting rejection. (I also applied for FA, needing about 30k in grants to go there so that might screw me in the end... even though it is need blind technically)

Guys, I got a 32 on my ACTs and I got an early write today. You certainly have a shot!

you're competitive. that's as good as anyone can be.
