I really, really want to go to CU-Boulder this fall. However, I'm out of state (currently living in Minnesota) and didn't receive any scholarships. I am paying for my entire college education, and have just about no money saved. Over four years, I'm looking about about 160,000$ in DEBT. I got enough loans to cover this, but no scholarships or grants. How would it even be possible for me to pay that back? Even though it's my dream school, I don't see how it could be worth it... Would it be more likely for me to receive scholarships after freshmen year? How can I make this work?!

If you must go to CU Boulder, don’t go til you are independent, a Colorado resident, or both.

If you become another Bill Gates, the $160,000 will seem like chump change. However, for the more average Joe (or the above average Jane), $160,000 is not possible unless you plan to live like a homeless person (I’m not saying that living like a homeless person is bad, just not my choice).
