My essay is really outstanding, and my EC's aren't bad either. I'm asking whether it's worth applying because I would have to pay/write the essays, so if I have no chance I'd rather not waste my time. IMPORTANT* I'm a double-legacy from both my brother and sister who have both graduated. Some people say this gives me a huge advantage while others say it doesn't.

Is it worth applying? I would go there in a heartbeat.

If you are applying to NY “contract” schools IR, Ag (except Dyson) or Human Ecology, your chances are fairly good. A&S will be very difficult with your grades. Since you’ve taken business courses, IR or Hotel Admin are good choices. If you are a NY resident, IR makes more sense. Post at the Cornell thread, as to which school would be your best shot.

Both my brother and sister went into ILR(IR-) so I guess that makes sense. Thanks for the advice. Anyone else?

I wouldn’t hesistate applying. You have a chance for sure, though Cornell is a reach.

SAt score is up to snuff and gpa is out of 4 i dont know what that is suppose to mean
Ap is lacking i think u might be a little short from what i understand

Your GPA is low for Cornell, but it’s worth an application! Make sure your essays are as incredible and different as you can make them.
