<p>I have a 3.72 weighted GPA and at the completion of my senior year I will have taken 8 AP classes and I have 2 3s 5 4s and 1 5 on my AP exams i have also taken <code>13 honors classes but I am only in the top</code>24% of my class. I want to go to UTexas, but I am really concerned since my SATI were only like 1050 and I am still awaiting SATII ACT is 24</p>
<p>Are you in-state? If not, your chances aren't good. Your SAT is pretty low even for in-state. I would also need to know what your school's profile is. Is their grade inflation?</p>

<p>If UT wasn't so stats based, especially class rank, I'd say they'd accept you in a heartbeat but they have a huge number of applicants and don't take a very hollistic approach to the process. As it is, chances are not great. I would try to find some schools that will look past the numbers, you could probably get into a better one.</p>
