Is it harder to get into UW as an out of state student?

<p>I'm asian, and i got a 1970 on my SAT score. I heard colleges judge asians harder because they, on average, get higher SAT scores. On top of that, I'm out of state. Would that lower my chances?</p>

<p>UW likes OOS first year students.
They don’t like OOS transfers though.</p>
