Is it harder to transfer for Winter quater?

I am planing on applying to UCR,UCI, and UCD for next winter. Will it be harder to get in? I know I know I can still apply to UCR but I want have more classes for major done before transferring.

I don't think admissions get any more or less difficult based on when you apply.

it is harder. most schools dont even accept admission for winter quarters only a few.

usually its harder to transfer during winter cause there's less space and always more applicants so their more strict on their admissions, you can probably get into ucr and ucsc for winter but other UCs will be harder, and Sd only takes TAG for winter but i hear they might change it.

As of now, winter admissions to UCD have been canceled. I've been told that this might change depending on what decisions are going to be made in June/July in regards to the budget cuts, so when it gets closer to this time period you can check the status here:

Application Basics

An UC Davis rep actually told me that UC Davis isn't opened for the winter quarter because of the budget cuts.

Yes UC Davis at this moment will not be accepting applications for Winter 2009. If we were open, most likely the restrictions for Winter applications are a little higher. For example, we typically require a 3.0 cumulative GPA of Winter Transfer students.
