I am a prospective LSP (sociology) student, I will become fully matriculated this fall.

Sorry I’m confused, so your in LSP? Because from what I’ve read about the program is that Stern is the only school that LSP students cannot enter in junior year. It was something about when the program changed from GSP to LSP that Stern cut ties with the program. So if you want to go to Stern I’m not sure what you can do.

I would contact LSP, I don’t know if being in LSP makes you ineligible for transferring into Stern.

My friend is in the exact same position as you. He contacted NYU and the response was that he wasn’t guaranteed transfer to Stern, but he could go into CAS, which he is guaranteed to be accepted to if he maintains a B average, and then apply for a Stern transfer. Apparantly he has to have at least a 3.8+ GPA to be considered for the CAS to Stern transfer.
