Well, as one of my friends likes to say, there is an "unconditional" clause in the friendship pact - in which she unconditionally listens to any crap that happens in her friends' lives.

Yes, a sexual assault survivor should talk to a therapist as her primary method of rehabiliating herself. However, it is very important that she have boyfriends with whom she can be honest. Sexual abuse, like a lot of things, becomes a part of the relationship. Think about the flip side - imagine that your girlfriend flatly refuses to do a lot of things with you and refuses to give you explanations. After a while, you would feel shut out of her life. Not healthy.

I've seen guys who have the drama - he goes out with his friend's ex, and all hell breaks loose. Yes, guys do that, but then they stop speaking to the offending party/parties. The attitude is, "Dude, that's not cool - we're no longer friends." Girls can't do that - trust me! - because the entire girl pack will turn against the wronged girl. (Yes, it's weird.) Girls, IMO, punish each other for being direct and for being principled.

Actually I wasn't referring to any specific post, i just felt like sayign "blah" you know like when life hands you a load of crap and then you just have to say "blah"

I am "blah" personified.

Really.

You summoned me.

Blahdeblah, is there ANYTHING you can do about Jason's copy and pasting problems?

He's going to overload the CC server

Maybe if I knew where he lived, I could steal his keyboard. And his right mouse button. Would that work? But I would probably be tempted just to smack him or something.

I would go to sleep because I'm feeling very blah-like today but I fear that no one would be left to stand and defend the world from Jason-isms.

^ You're doing an impressive job.
I really have this bizarre desire to meet him, just to see whether he's as obnoxious in real life as he is on CC

An impressive job?!

I'd like to see a picture...I've got an idea of what he may look like, but I could be totally wrong.

I think people in general create situations that lead to 'drama' because their lives lack excitement or meaning outside of petty social issues. The fact that girls, who seem to be more clique-ish as a whole IME, do this more often isn't really surprising. The best way to avoid this is simply not to associate with them, and don't ever listen to your female friends' problems. I actually think having a lot of 'really great' female friends is a bad idea, simply because as a guy it becomes frustrating and you end up placing yourself in the beta male role. Nothing proves my point better than the male posters above me indicating that they listen to these girls problems like good little emotional tampons. You have to have better things to do, right? Do them.

I don't mind showing a pic...anybody who wants to see me can PM me..it's cool.

I just met another one today. I think i have some poster saying that I am a counsellor on my back

maybe they see you as someone they can talk to. if you don't want to talk to them, just blow them off lol

Haha, so true. Most girls I know always have something going on, or are complaining about something.

While it's annoying sometimes, I don't mind because it gives us something to talk about.

I am a girl myself, and theres so many girls that say they hate drama and blah, blah, blah and their usually the ones that are causing it. I trully can say I'm one of the most drama-free girls I know just because I don't put it upon myself lol. Thats why I like guys, there easy to talk to, and they don't take everything you say so personally lol.

^^yea i kinda noticed that too. they're like "oh, i hate drama" and all that crap but u can take one look at them and their personality and they're like stuck up as hell, and u know that they're teeming with drama. its comin outta their ass they cause so much.

I guess females don't mind giving their life story. Personally I try to keep my problems to myself. But they do give us somthing to talk about. Just don't take an hour doing it.

Girls have BIG Issues.

Its best to avoid them.

I don't think it's all girls.
