<p>i took it 11th, took multivariable calc 12th, and was rejected. Taking calc early or late doesn't change your chances that much; unless it's huge, like taking it in i donno 7th grade and getting a 5!!!</p>
<p>^ but obviously taking early math alone wouldn't get you into MIT, there are other, important factors...</p>
<p>one of my classmates didnt take calculus in high school (taking stats this year) and got into harvard, but she is a dancer, etc.</p>
<p>There are Harvard students who have insufficient knowledge of trigonometry--it's not an engineering school.</p>
<p>Static, it could have been him then. I'll never forget it, hehe.</p>
<p>Because my school doesn't offer AP Calc I had to take it at UCI and pay a thousand bucks. Oh well, at least I didn't have to pass the AP exam.</p>
