is it just me or is the princeton review 1296 book slightly harder than the real ACT?

lol thankssss

i really wanna know the answer to this. because i’m doing well according to it :D

It is slightly harder. I get low 30’s/high 20’s on PR 1296 and I just got a 33 on my practice test lol.

what book was your practice test from? the one where you got a 33?

That was the RB, so you’re in luck lol.

awesome!! I’m getting 32s in 1296 (some sections are just impossible to finish in the allotted time in this book)…so I should be able to get a 33 or 34 i hope

so for example english and reading, i’m getting around a 28 on the practice sections… what do you think my score will be?

English: 30-32

Reading should really stay the same, since 1296’s reading isn’t that hard. O_o

if my english is a 32 and math 33 wat should i get on the real one?

The English, Mathematics, and Science on the PR 1296 is noticeably harder than on the RB.

However, the Reading, and some sections of the English are of the same difficulty as in the RB.

For math I get 36 consistently (36 on the Real ACT)
For Writing I get 33s which is also consistent with the Real ACT
Reading tends to be different from time to time. Highest was a 34 lowest was a 29.
However, the science on the PR book is just awful. It’s harder, much harder, than the Real ACT book. Especially the three practice science sections. I never have the time to finish and when I look at the answer explanations some of them make no sense at all. The science section is just plain frustrating!

^^thank you

oh awesome
I’m glad I caught this thread because I was going to buy that book for ACT prep next and I actually want something harder than the real thing so I feel good during the real thing hahaha

thanks!!!

what do you think i can get if i get a 31 on a science practice test? with the 1296 book

Seems pretty average to me. The math is much easier for me (25), everything else is the same. Overall I still get 21’s composite =(
