Im planning on taking 3 subject tests (math2, physics, and US history) and the SAT in Oct. Each day i think about the work ahead of me and i just get stressed out. I feel like there just isn't enough time for me to manage my time in a way that i can cover all subject areas, and better prepare myself for the oct tests. Is this normal? My friends feel the same way but many of them are taking more APs than i am the coming year. Its frustrating =(

You mean SAT in october and SAT 2 in november, or vice versa right?

Quix, just take it day-by-day and do what you can. If you focus on the work for the day, you'll accomplish something; and it will add up, bit by bit. There is actually quite a lot of time remaining before October. Assuming that you took math, physics, and US history last year, you probably have a good grounding in these subjects, and you don't need to relearn them completely. You'll probably be surprised by the amount of material that just "comes back" to you as you're reviewing. In any event, it's always much quicker to relearn something than it is to learn it for the first time.

Also, I don't think you can take the subject tests and the SAT I on the same day (as shiomi was pointing out).

Thanks Quant, its just that its a bit stressful when it adds up only bit by bit. I guess your right, one step at a time and eventually until it finally adds up by oct, hopefully.

I mean subjects in november, sorry!

wow that is alot lol, mines easy because im a strong math student, i just need to review for math2, and im takin chinese so i dont hav to study . for nov too yeah

^"a lot"

Just a reminder.

Not a strong english student????
:P, just playing.

no Not a strong english student
=/

I'm sorry....Peng Yao :(((

same problem here. i want to take the SAT this october but i havent been able to study cuz of my homework and practice.

I know exactly how you feel ( I'm taking SAT I in Oct and SAT II in Nov, even the same subjects). I have been trying to study but I get so stressed because I have so much to do.

Nope, four months is not enough time to study for three subject tests and the SAT. Leave more time next time. (Of course, I'm going under the assumption that you suscribe to the belief of reincarnation.)

Yeah it can seem overwhelming at times. Just put it into perspective. A lot of people on here act like if they don't do perfectly they won't get into the Ivy league- it's really not a big deal. You can do well and get into a great college if you try your best.

gosh..i feel ya. im going to be a JUNIOR though, and i have tons of AP english homework (which i am really worried about; never took an AP before), i have to take the PSAT not to mention the real SAT for the first time, read an enormous about of books, watch a boring 11 hour physics dvd because i am taking AP physics with no prior physics experience, and balance my summer ECs as well. no time for fun..honestly..
