is it just me.. or is uofm's wireless internet starting to SUCK?

I don't remember having to reconnect so often last year.

I haven’t had any problems whatsoever, but I only use it in the classrooms and lecture halls. We don’t have wireless in my dorm or anything.

Same, I’ve been having to reconnect (at least on central campus) far more often. It also takes longer to connect…

Dorms don’t have wireless?

Not all of them do, no. I think they added wireless over the summer to parts of EQ, but my section doesn’t have it. So I have a 50 foot ethernet cable taped along the wall. lol I know North Quad is supposed to be getting wireless when it opens in the Fall, and I think Mojo has wireless, too. I don’t know anything about the other dorms. You get used to it a lot sooner than you’d think.

Use M-wireless and you should be good.

Markley also has wireless, and I haven’t been having any problems connecting to the internet anywhere (dorm room, classroom, lecture hall) thus far.

ok no but seriously… the internet at the law library SUCKS.

That sucks. It’s actually the opposite here on north campus, CAEN is in the process of upgrading its wireless network right now.
