Freshman year, we take one of the classes on the first line, sophmore year, one on the second line, and junior year, one on the third line. Those are required and pretty rigid in what you can take. Then senior year, you’re freed up and you take at least a semester of an elective as well.

9th Grade US/Honors US
World/AP World/AP Euro
Gov/AP Gov

Electives:
Civil War/Reconstruction (semester)
Politics and Confilct in the Modern World (semester)
Current Events (semester)
AP US (year)
AP Psychology (year)

9th Grade: World Geography
10th Grade: AP World History or World History
11th Grade: AP U.S. History or U.S. History
12th Grade: American Government (1 term) or AP U.S. Government and Politics/AP Comparative Government and Politics and Economics or AP Microeconomics/AP Macroeconomics

Lol, the first class is REQUIRED. Note that I go to a very small school (~21 students/graduating class) and half our schedule is decided for us.

My school only has one year of USH, regular or AP, and that’s they way it should be in my opinion. Why take two years of history when you can learn it all in one?
