<p>Was just browsing through the 09-10 Important Dates and saw that we don't have many breaks. It seems like only real break longer than a three-day weekend like Thanksgiving and Easter is Christmas, which is only about 10 days? Is this true?</p>
<p>isnt there a reading break type thing before exams?and we do get off school early.</p>
<p>McGill Breaks:</p>
<p>October - 3-day Canadian Thanksgiving weekend
December - Winter Break, at least 2 weeks, but if your exams end early, you can leave earlier!
February - 10-day Study Break
April - 3-day Easter weekend, but if your exams don’t begin until late in the exam period, you can have a longer break!</p>
<p>Exams officially end April 30, and school begins Sept. 1, so you’ll have a 4 MONTH summer, perhaps longer if your Winter finals end early. That’s the upside of fewer, shorter breaks. :)</p>
