Is It Me, Or Is The Reading Section Super Hard In The Princeton Review

In preparation for the ACT on Saturday, I've been using both PR " Cracking the ACT" and the Real Red Book these last few weeks.

I liked the strategies the Princeton Review gave, but found that their practice tests for the reading test are extremely difficult and confuse you quite often.

Does anyone else have this problem, and is Princeton Review easier or harder than the real ACT when it comes to reading?

Can someone please answer this?

I find the science ones really hard but the reading is doable.

Same with angehere… I find the science and math to be harder but the reading is alright.

Hmm, ok… Maybe it was me just doing poor on the first practice reading test… However, I agree the Math does appear hard and not too sure about science yet.

The reading is a tad bit harder. The science is definitely harder. The English is quite accurate. I’m not so sure about the math section.

for some reason, I usually score a 33/34 in the red book English, but in PR I keep getting 31s on English… what the heck is that all about?
I hate the fact that the ACT is in 3 days and things are not looking any better here. :(

The science is extremely difficult for me :(

jaysha don’t worry you’re not alone… as the act date gets closer, i feel like i’m scoring poorer on my practice tests ):

I agree we are all having trouble under the pressure as the ACT comes near.

same for my daughter. Taking test right now, as the rest of you probably are. Hopefully it goes well - esp for those who spent the time preparing!
