Let's talk about stuff besides UCLA (I saw the campus today and understand why everyone wants to go there).

My UC list:

1st: Berkeley
2nd: UCLA
3rd: UC Davis

UCSD is too close to home and as nice as LA is it doesn't beat Berkeley's prestige. I'm having a hard time deciding what I should use as my experience for my Math/Econ essay, my first choice for that is publishing the college football rankings I've been working on, is this a good idea?

ucsd is so plain looking. definitely not as nice as UCLA. ucsb’s surrounding city is beautiful and the campus is nice, but ucla has more character with all the old brick buildings.

dash=UCI –> UCLA transfer, therefore, not a community college jack ass who doesn’t know anything about “education”. I know about the quality of education at UCI/UCLA because i’ve experienced it first hand. I also have HEARD certain things about ucsd…

“lol compared to UCLA, UCI is like UCR as far as education goes…”

says the person who likes to boast about skipping class.
Why register if your only going there to take exams? Aren't you missing out on what education should be about? Being in an academic environment learning about new ideas, and having discussions?

Marinate on that, for in the words of empirescrumble:

"And with that, I’m done. I know I won’t get anywhere with you, so I’ll spend the remainder of my time doing things that are productive. You know, things less lame than flaming people’s university choice on a college admissions forum. You must have a very interesting life "

… And don’t get too worked up, I just hope you don’t skip on meetings with your clients, if you become a lawyer.

Don’t trip I like like UCLA Basketball, they do very well.

I would love UCLA if it was in a smaller town, traffic is annoying…
Not to say that i don’t respect the school because I do. I respect it as much any other institution build on academic success.

@dash: Haha someone is defensive about his 2nd tier school. I don’t mind coming from a CC. Just means I spent less money than you and had more fun Tough break, kid!

@Art: I never said I don’t go to class. Just because I skip classes doesn’t mean I am not there for the majority of them. Fail logic much?

Once again, never said I was only going to take exams, but if I was, why does it matter as long as I do well on the exams? I mean the exams are to prove you learned the material. If I learn it, and know it, who cares how many class appearances it took me to do so? Discussion and the environment are only there to further help you understand and learn the material. Once again, if you ace the test, it shows you know it just as well.

Doing things productive like dropping out of music school. Ok, gotcha.

And as I have said before, but your selective memory clearly omits, I never miss meetings for work, and never am slow to get things done. Your weak attempts to transition the academic bars I set with professional is pathetic. Please go protest oil speculators with empire, or some other nonsense.

Are you serious? haha. You are so defensive, it’s truly pathetic. You have been crying on here for months about how good UCI is because you hate the fact no one but you ranks UCI over UCSD and in some cases UCD. I get it, I would be defensive too.

While I appreciate your homophobic tendencies (what I expect from a UCI educated tool), you are wrong (what I also expect from a UCI educated tool). UCLA is a top tier, or tier 1 UC campus, but even in the case of US News, they rank UCLA as Tier 1.

Please go beat up some homosexuals on a subway to show how non-gay you are, and how far you are (or aren’t) out of the closet.
