is it me or is the University of Chicago getting more and more apealing as I wait for 4/1? and where do I get consoling when/if i get rejected? what is the transfer acceptance rate?

It is not just you.

In all honesty, University of Chicago is not my first choice. But I've come to realize how much I would really really really love going there.

I hope I get in... I hope I hope I hope!

Yep, it's quickly becoming my true first choice as opposed to just my "realistic" top-15 pick (cause I could never get into Harvard or Columbia).

Yeah, Chicago has really really good marketing I think. I applied to Chicago EA and Columbia ED and got into the latter. Somehow though, I'm still really drawn to Chicago. Like I'm sad that I can't go there now even though Columbia was always my dream school. Chicago still feels really comfortable to be and it's because of their comprehensive and effective marketing campaign.

What marketing campaign? I've only received one piece of mail from them.

The hell with the marking...they do have an excellent marking team that kicks ass.

The college website is the most user friendly I have seen so far. What sucks is that we have to wait for the regular mail to get our decisions....which really tries my patients...damn u Columbia Students, you got your decisions on 10th by e-mail!

Yeah, their online application is by far the best one I've had to use. And I've used quite a few.

I kept getting flyers, brochures, postcards, books, and emails from Chicago.

"marking....marking" the side effects of not sleeping and typing this post at 3.12 E.T.
