<p>Does CommonApp only request a counselor's recommendation but no teacher's?</p>

<p>I was wondering if it's possible to also send one or two teacher recommendations along with the counselor's because my counselor just started working this year and (as he told me) will not be able to provide a very personal recommendation. </p>

<p>On one of the click down menus, you have the opportunity to list teachers and their emails addresses. Then, you attach teachers to the various schools you are applying to (so you have the option of deciding which teacher for what school, or the same one or two for all schools.) They will receive an email altering them so I suggest making sure you get their approval first!</p>
