Is it necessary to send Art supplements?

Hi,

I just wanted to know if it is necessary to send art/music supplements along with the common app? My son is doing EA, and just found out the deadline for art/music supplements has passed. Is it okay for him to send it now or just forget it? Please help.

Thank you!

It’s too late to send it. A deadlines a deadline. But it’s definitely “optional”, so no worries.

Thanks for the quick responses. No, my son is not majoring in music. But his EC are concentrated in Music. He is applying uva as undecided. I thought the supplement would give him a kick or something, wow, to late ;(.

If he waited and applied regular decision then he still has some time to submit a music supp. If he’s extremely talented…might be worth waiting for regular decision app. period.
