Is it normal for girls to tell guys to put the toilet seat down... NOW?

I never touch the toilet seat. Call me crazy, but I hate when you sit and it’s warm from the person before you, or if it’s a public toilet who knows how often it’s cleaned - so I always take a little strip of toilet paper and layer it, then sit.

What’s the problem with me telling them that they put it down so they should put it up again?
Because it makes you an inconsiderate ass, and by refusing to put the seat down you’re going out of your way to bother the your roommate, and believe me, you do NOT want to live with an angry roommate. Often girls let the “little things” that bother them slide and say it’s “fine”, but eventually something will make her very upset and it’ll all come out in the end - not only the toilet seat, but also the other 20 annoying things you do which you’re not even aware of but she probably is. (I’m being kind of facetious here, but still)</p>

<p>But it doesn’t make any sense. If by forcing them to put down the seat every time makes me an ass, how is them forcing me to lift the seat every time justified?</p>

<p>I have no problem putting the toilet down. In fact, I do it when I remember (you guys know that 21 years of habit isn’t easily broken). What I am rather miffed about is that someone actually forced me to go put it down when I forgot. Why is it so important it becomes a rule? It requires no effort!</p>
