Is it normal for schools to delay their decisions for more than a week?

<p>I have been waiting on my decisions from UCI, UCSB, and UCSD. </p>

<p>UCSD is the only school that has really updated their admission decisions site with updates on their delays, which were recently BUMPED down to the 11th!</p>

<p>UCI has not given me their decision, though, they do say Early May, so I'm not too miffed about that.</p>

<p>However, UCSB, has not given me any notice and its website has said that decisions would be avaliable by May 1st. It's already the 6th! </p>

<p>Just wondering how other people who have been put through this suffering felt, lol.</p>

<p>you should give ucsb a call cuz that's kind of ridiculous.</p>

<p>I can't believe UCSB still hasn't notified everyone. Definitely call them. they owe you an explanation -- if not an answer.</p>
