Is it normal to put more time/energy into certain courses?

I don't mean "certain classes" that are more difficult or require more work. I mean "certain classes" that are simply more enjoyable.

This is my final semester at the CC and I'm taking 4 courses: Physics, Chemistry, Writing 2, and Business and Technical Writing. I put in the time and energy to learn the material and get an A in all classes (as I always have) but I find myself spending lots of time reading supplement material in physics because I enjoy it most, whereas I don't really put in "extra" time toward the other classes, with the occasional exception of the chemistry class.

Anyone else?

It’s normal I think. I know I personally go out of my way to build knowledge in the areas I am passionate about, almost daily if I can make time. I am sure it is this case, but only for people that have found things that they are passionate about.

That’s good. I was starting to wonder if I was going about things the wrong way. I, too, try to learn a little more about the subject(s) I’m more passionate about on a daily basis. Doesn’t go over well with the GF every time, if it is necessary assigned work, but oh well.

Nah man, you’re fine for sure. Well, definitely make sure you make time for things like your girlfriend and being involved with something (especially if it applies things you are interested in). But otherwise, learning those things out of the enjoyment of the topic will only ever help you!

Oh, I definitely make time for other things as well. Wouldn’t want to completely burn out. Lol. Thanks for the help!

Haha good. No problem man.
