Is it? Shall we say we are expecting some mail between the 12th and 15th of this month?

yes i guess it is safe :)

lol i thought so

I'm not so sure...my GC called Pton and they said they would be mailing on the 14th, in which case we'd recieve decisions on the 16th or 17th.

Maybe they just said that so they're not late... (hopefully).

bt a bit more than 10 days for me if its 15! aaaaaaaaaaaaa

Yay!
Do you guys think we should make an AIM list? I wanna get to know you guys, and then we'll have an emotional support group for the deferrees :)

tooth, we'll worry about that later i think

polymerchain, for me in NJ it would be next day (15th) if the 14th is the day, but i doubt decisions would come a week later than last year, when many ivy's are going public on the 8th

i really hope you're right. i too think it would be odd to recieve after the 15th. maybe it was more a "by the 14th" thing...

Which Ivies are going public on the 8th? I applied to Yale and I'd be happy to not know for another year.

I think most of the lower ivies and Upenn are going public on the 8th.

columbia is not a lower IVY in my eyes, maybe the SAT percentiles are slightly lower, that is not very telling to me...

grkprincetonian, i saw your harassment on the columbia boards of how you completely insulted the prestige of columbia...how can you defend it now?...change of heart?

Lol, ditto. You did say you were above average at Columbia Grk... And you did use lower SAT percentiles as an arguement before...

i said based on my SATs and when the two mid 50%tiles are juxtaposed, columbia would be a better shot for me, and as an out of state... are you gratified?

i said what my chances are not it's prestige or quality, they are neurotic EDers, i tried to disabuse them of their misconception, but to no avail

9 days. I feel...squeezed.

i hope ITS LESS

I'm EXCITED!! Either acceptance or rejection. It's cool to see if I'm qualifed for Princeton. If I'm in, awesome! If not, that's okay. It's not the end of the world. There are so many amazing colleges out there: Duke, Yale, etc. Don't worry guys. You'll be fine!

yeah... i'm definitely opening my pton letter with the gorgeous duke viewbook in front of me, so when i don't get in, I can fall in love with duke immediately.
