Is it OK for me to date this girl?

<p>So I'm a senior and this girl that I kind of have a thing with is a junior. I'm old for a senior, I turn 18 in November. She just turned 16 in July. Is this too big of an age difference, or is it alright since we're only a year apart in school?</p>

<p>Since the girl is the younger one you might have problems with her parents. Parents of girls tend to be more protective especially dads. My dad would flip ranches if he found out an almost 18 year old wanted to go out with me (I’m 16).</p>

<p>OK in terms of the law - Yes, nothing stops you being in a relationship with her, law does prevent other aspects that go with it though.</p>

<p>OK in terms of society - There may be people who judge you and lose respect for you, may be others who won’t.</p>

<p>The fact you’re obviously insecure as to whether you should or shouldn’t dictates that society as a whole may share the same sentiment.</p>
