Is it ok if I don't take listening?

The listening test isn't really an option for me since it is only in November, and I'll only be in Spanish 3 by then. So, I probably wouldn't be prepared if I decided to take it then. However, I would like to take the Spanish SAT II in June, when I'll be almost done with Spanish 4 (I can have both 3 and 4 in the same school year because of block scheduling), so obviously I'd be much more prepared.

What I'm concerned with though, is that I'm unsure whether or not colleges really prefer the listening portion, or maybe even some don't accept the Spanish SAT without listening.

Does anybody know?

^ that's a good question. too bad i don't know the answer. :/...but i'm sure someone on this forum does.

bump.......

i wouldn't worry too much about it. you'll probably do much better on the test without listening, so the good score will outweigh any concerns. good luck!! :)
